City of Desloge

The Public Works Department provides many of the basic services that affect the daily lives of Desloge citizens.

The responsibilities encompass the administration, planning, maintenance and construction of the city’s infrastructure including the transportation and storm water collection system, the city's park and recreational facilities and spaces, curbside recycling and solid waste collection programs and other capital facilities.  The Department also provides city street and vehicle maintenance, snow and ice control and various programs for our residents. The department is divided into five divisions: Public Works, Solid Waste, Park & Tennis, Pool and Brightwell Park.

Our goal is to provide efficient and reliable infrastructure essential to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public and to enhance the quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors.
